Join ACLU of Virginia for their first-ever lobby day on February 9th! We’ll walk to Virginia’s general assembly building together to talk directly to our legislators on how we can create a better Commonwealth.

This legislative session, Virginia lawmakers put all 3 constitutional amendments to protect our reproductive freedom, voting rights, and marriage equality on the ballot for Virginians to vote on in November. Join us for an evening of crafting and community building to thank them!

This is a powerful opportunity to make your voice heard, build community, and directly advocate for policies that protect and advance LGBTQ+ equality in Virginia. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or attending Lobby Day for the first time, we’ll make sure you’re prepared and supported every step of the way.

Join our newly created CLAP (Community Led Action for the People) Back team for folks statewide. This virtual meeting, our organizers will help prepare and train you for ACLU-VA’s Lobby Day on Feb 9. You’ll learn how to advocate for all Virginians when talking to Virginia lawmakers.
