Virginia Human Rights Act

Thanks to a law called the Virginia Human Rights Act (VHRA), a Virginia employer cannot fire, refuse to hire, or discriminate against you because of your gender identity and/or your sexual orientation.

And no Virginia public accommodation – including schools, businesses, and government buildings – can refuse to serve or discriminate against you because of your gender identity or sexual orientation, either.
