A Loved One's Story

These words are from a loved one of a man incarcerated at Bland Correctional Center: "I have a loved one that is currently serving time in Bland Correctional Facility. He is down to his last 4 1/2 months or so with an original release date of October 16th. As of Friday May 15th after a month of sending countless emails and making numerous phone calls to the probation office, his Warden Isreal Hamilton and trying to reach Richmond directly and even attempting to drive up to the probation office itself, they finally approved his home plan... but not until after they had him fill out his appeal and turn it in and then they gave it back a couple weeks later with denied due to not having an approved home plan stamped on it. Now his home plan is finally approved, but we are only a few weeks away from the emergency order being over and they are not moving quick enough releasing these people. My loved one has Asthma, hypertension and COPD and if he does contract this virus it could potentially be fatal. At the rate they are releasing people, he won’t even be a thought in their mind before it’s too late."
