The COVID-19 pandemic has changed every aspect of life and highlighted the systemic racist issues in our everyday life, from the criminal legal system to voting. It has also reminded us of our resilience in being able to adapt and continue our work towards a more equitable system that works for all. This same resilience is what drove yearslong movements to break barriers in voting, pass meaningful state nondiscrimination laws to protect all members of the LGBTQ community, and secure abortion rights and pregnancy accommodations for workers.
As we adapt to a new virtual world, we welcome you to join the ACLU of Virginia and its Northern Virginia chapter for our first virtual Annual Meeting.
